The benefits of early rising

We all remember those days of youth when we could sleep for hours. You set your alarm clock to go off at seven for school, but you still needed to be dragged out of bed. Suppose we needed all that shut-eye to grow.

Weekends

I always found it off-putting when I called around a friend's house at ten in the morning and found them still in bed. Popping on the bus to the local town would be put off for at least two hours whilst they had a shower, washed and styled their hair. Choose the right outfit. Meanwhile, the urge to pop into town had turned into regret. Off you toodled in your cardi and jeans with Miss Styled and groomed, wondering why you even bothered in the first place.

Adult Early Rising

Waking up early with the dawn chorus is great. Getting out of bed before this time is even better. Climbing out of your blanket camp and drinking that first glass of water or coffee in complete peace grounds you. Endless possibilities belong to you. This is so as you have not reached for your phone or laptop yet.

In fact, grabbing hold of your laptop and writing, or picking up your pen or pencil to create in the early hours of the morning, brings with it creativity and focus.

It works wonders for getting out there, whether exercising, going out, or getting stuff done!
