Life Online Is Busy. Therefore community is dead.
There are so many people, companies, trying to gain your attention.Marketing, selling items, personal views or many other things all coming your way. Whilst millions are knee deep in other peoples content, a sense of community is slipping away.
The Worlds Population are clicking away, head downs, and focused on screens.
In the deluge of information being offered it is easy to forget about real life connections. Refusing to enter that world, or being picky about what you take in can be a complicated to navigate.
Thousands of people are uploading information, making films and interviewing experts and celebrities.
Giving them constant attention pays wages as we click this and click that. But what is the effect on your life?
The Online Digital World Has Peaked.
Some believe that there is a national agenda to break down communities and it has worked.
For, if we all spend all our time online, human relationshps break down.
Spending too much time there takes you away from making friends with those around you. Depending on what content you watch, you could start hating certain other groups. All in all, it is not a recipe for happiness.
What About Your Content?
No, not the online content, but yours.
How is your life going? Do you know your nieghbours or that elderly couple down the road who's life you could change just by being a friend.
Many of us will have memories of people our parents or grandparents popped in to see, check up on. They were not relatives, but you grew up with them. You cared for them and they became an extension to the family. What would be the outcome if we all made the effort? Could we rebuild communities?
Refusing To Fulfill The Prophecy That Community Is Dead Equals Taking Action.
So then you have a decision to make. You need to ignore those imparted beliefs that make you hate, fear, and in some cases want to attack those who do not duplicate your own belief system.
Community starts from the bottom up. It is a very basic action that stands firm supporting posative human relationships. Looking someone in the eye who is different to you, or has different opinions to you is good for you. You are human and so are they. They have family, personal problems, wishes, dreams just like you. You can connect, agree to disagree and at the bottom of your relationship is kindness and a desire to develop posative outcomes in everyones lives.
